2001年の販売開始以来、海外の有名ロッドをコピーするのではなく、原田竹竿オリジナルであることに
こだわり続けてきました。
ブランク素材の真竹、独自開発のスピゴット、ユニークなリールシート、すべてが意味を持っています。
フライフィッシングロッドとしての機能、特にアマゴを釣るためのロッドを追求していくこと、そして、
釣りの楽しさをさらに深めるために、原田竹竿はこれからも進化していきます。

About the Maker

It is the personal maker which the Harada Takezao mainly produces fly rods with Japanese domestic bamboo”Madake” in Osaka. Based on an original concept, I produce it with unique material and original parts since 2001.

“Madake” is the common Japanese bamboo has been used as materials of an industrial art object and tools of the tea ceremony and fishing rods for a long time. Because fiber is thin, it is flexible, and there is tenacity and can make light rods. Osaka where I live is near to Kyoto and Wakayama and Nara that are the production center of the high quality bamboo. So I go to the Mt. oneself and gather it.

The main target fish of the Harada Takezao is cherry salmon and red-spotted masu salmon that is subspecies of cherry salmon . This kind of fish acts to spin around when a hook hangs in the mouth.“Madake” follows it for such a "rolling" flexibly and can pull a fish with power with the tenacity.

Harada Takezao continues evolving from now on while pursuing pleasure of the sportfishing.
